It’s not a television network, however. And is instead a subscription-based streaming service that will give you access to WWE’s extensive library of content.
All WWE, WCW and ECW pay-per-view. cCassic matches and unedited and unedited shows (apart from some music editing). And new original programming created specifically for WWE Network. However, you won’t be able to watch Raw or SmackDown live on the WWE Network group buy. New classic content will be added to the section on demand regularly. All in all, though, this is a surprisingly great move from WWE. It gives you the opportunity to revisit old WCW. WWE and ECW engines on demand. Cable and satellite TV providers won’t be happy. But it’s certainly better for consumers.
I’m also pretty confident that this will work pretty well too. Streaming isn’t always reliable, especially during peak times like during a major PPV like WrestleMania. But WWE is partnering with MLB Advanced Media (yes, baseball players) to handle the engine. Online infrastructure. .
Review update
The WWE Network has great video and overall very good performance. A lot of classic content has been add to the service. Even if you only watch PPV every month and don’t bother with the rest, it’s definitely worth it. And sometimes you can sign up for a time so you get two PPVs for the price of one.
Being able to sign up for a month at a time instead of committing to six months is also nice as it allows you to watch the big shows (WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam and whenever Brock Lesnar shows up). All in all, we love it and highly recommend WWE Network.
